Charlotte Sophia Dalwood

I am a commentator on Canadian constitutional law, 2SLGBTQ+ rights, and religion. My monthly column for Rabble.ca appears on the third Monday of each month. I write regular feature articles for Xtra Magazine. Other publication credits include articles in CBC News, Religion Dispatches, and Sojourners. My first book, Until At Dawn We Wake, is forthcoming from Quoir on 10 December 2024.

My scholarly research traverses the fields of law, religion, and contemporary critical theory. It has appeared in the Journal of Anglican Studies, Theology & Sexuality, and other peer-reviewed journals. I also blog at The Ends of Justice about administrative and constitutional law.

I hold a Master of Arts in Religion, with a concentration in theology, from Yale University; and a Certificate in Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. I graduated from the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law with my juris doctor (J.D.) in 2024.

This website showcases my past, present, and upcoming work. I invite you to take a look. You are welcome to contact me through this site. Want to support my writing and public advocacy? Contribute to my “Tip Jar” through Ko-Fi.
